I know it hasn’t been an easy year for many (off the back of the two tricky years that have gone before). At Dry Drinker HQ, we’ve had to contend with power cuts, lorries running over palettes of stock and we’re all ending the year sniffling and sneezing – and that’s before you mention the three prime ministers and throw a cost-of-living crisis into the mix...
When I started DryDrinker.com in 2017 I wasn’t sure what I was letting myself in for – but we’re still here 5 years later – and it makes me very proud to see how the business has changed, grown, and adapted.
I’ve got an amazing team, who’ve been freezing themselves silly in the warehouse over the past few days, packing all your Christmas orders, but I’m very lucky to have them join my journey.
Sadly, at the start of this year we lost a real star of our team, Sophie, and it was a very tricky time, but sometimes the worst times bring out the best in people. It made me very proud as the business founder to see how the team came together to support one another.
The year is ending on happier note, with one of team going off on maternity leave for a few months and the newest member of the DryDrinker.com family joining us before Christmas!
There is one more person I must thank for the last 5 years and that’s YOU... it’s because of you, our fantastically loyal customers, who keep coming back, order after order, that we can do this every day.
So, thank you and we look forward to continuing to share with you the best the No and Low alcohol industry has to offer in 2023.
