HOLOS Sparkling Premium Kombucha Oolong

HOLOS Kombucha was established in 2018 in West London, UK, by a close-knit group of friends who shared a passion for all-natural, high-quality kombucha and a desire to make a positive impact in the world. The company has since expanded and now operates from a bustling facility in West Sussex, with a dedicated team handling various aspects of the business, from engineering and project management to branding, sales, and public relations.

The inspiration behind HOLOS Kombucha was born when two of the team members, Naomi and Megan, encountered a woman named Maya while working with survivors of human trafficking in Cambodia. Maya was trapped on the streets, struggling to support her five children, and desperately seeking a way out. Recognising Maya's passion for nail art, Naomi and Megan arranged for her to provide manicures for hotel guests and supplied her with a startup nail kit. This small act of kindness sparked a significant change in Maya's life, as her nail art business began to flourish, allowing her and her children to escape the cycle of poverty and despair.

Aware that there are tens of thousands of individuals like Maya in the UK, some forced into the sex trade, domestic servitude, manual labour, or criminal activities, the team at HOLOS Kombucha aspired to create a socially purposeful business. Their goal was to raise funds to support survivors of trafficking, offering them opportunities and confidence to break the cycle of re-trafficking and find freedom and wholeness.

Today, HOLOS Kombucha's vision is to be at the forefront of a new wave of socially purposeful businesses, providing training and employment opportunities for trafficked women while fighting for justice in one of the most critical social issues of our time.
