Non alcoholic wine has been around for longer than you think.
More than 100 years ago, Carl Jung Jnr. developed a process for dealcoholisation in his family winery at Boosenburg Castle in Rüdesheim am Rhein, Germany. His idea was to extract alcohol at room temperature, with the help of a vacuum technique. Wine aromas were collected separately from the alcohol and reintroduced to the alcohol-free wine.

And it worked! His invention was protected by patent in 1907 and the family has been selling non alcoholic wines to the world ever since. They still swear by the Carl Jung Jnr. method, which only they can use. It guarantees extremely gentle and high-quality production of alcohol free wines.
