Nethergate story
The Nethergate Brewery was born in 1986, in the small town of Clare, Suffolk. Like many great ideas it was conceived in a pub, between two friends. One was a businessman and the other a microbiologist. The perfect team to set up a brewery.
They’ve been brewing high quality distinctive beers ever since. And they are rightly very proud to have won more than 70 significant regional, national and international awards. They’re also part of the community with a shop and tap room.
