Scavi & Ray Prosecco Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Wine is a captivating and elegant drink, perfect for celebrating life's special moments without alcohol. Crafted from the finest Glera grapes, grown in the sun-kissed landscape of Veneto, Italy, this refreshing beverage offers a delightful alternative to its award-winning alcoholic counterpart. With only 0.03% alcohol content, you can indulge in its tantalising flavours on a warm summer evening or on any occasion where a touch of fizz is required.

Understanding Gluten Free

Gluten, a protein complex predominantly found in grains such as wheat, barley, rye, and oats, is a common constituent in various beverages, including beer and some wines. However, gluten-free drinks steer clear of these ingredients. For a drink to earn the 'gluten-free' label, it must contain less than 20 parts per million of gluten, which is practically a smidgen!
On a more serious note, the legal definition of 'gluten-free' in the UK, as outlined by the European Commission Regulation (EC) No. 41/2009, stipulates that foodstuffs must contain no more than 20 mg/kg (ppm) of gluten to qualify for the label. This regulation ensures that products marketed as 'gluten-free' are safe for those with coeliac disease and gluten intolerance to consume.

Vegan Friendly

This drink contains no animal products or by-products whatsoever.

Food Pairings

Scavi and Ray Prosecco Food Pairings:

The light and refreshing nature of Scavi and Ray Non Alcoholic Prosecco makes it a versatile companion to a wide range of dishes. Here are some detailed food pairing suggestions to enhance your culinary experience:

  • Appetizers: Pair with light appetizers such as prosciutto-wrapped melon, shrimp cocktail, or a selection of mild cheeses. The crispness of the Prosecco complements the saltiness of the prosciutto and the sweetness of the melon, while its effervescence cuts through the richness of the shrimp and cheese.
  • Seafood: Ideal with seafood dishes like grilled sea bass, scallops with a citrus glaze, or a fresh seafood salad. The acidity and fruitiness of the Prosecco balance the natural flavours of the seafood, enhancing its freshness and zest.
  • Poultry: Serve alongside poultry dishes such as roasted chicken with herbs, turkey breast salad with cranberries and nuts, or a light chicken pasta in a creamy sauce. The wine's bubbly nature and fruity notes lighten the richness of the poultry and complement the herbs and spices used in cooking.
  • Vegetarian dishes: Complements vegetarian fare like a Caprese salad, vegetable risotto, or grilled vegetables with balsamic glaze. The Prosecco's freshness and acidity enhance the natural sweetness of the vegetables and balance the acidity of the balsamic glaze.
  • Desserts: Enjoy with desserts such as fruit tarts, lemon sorbet, or a simple bowl of fresh berries. The wine's sweetness pairs well with the fruit-based desserts, while its acidity contrasts nicely with the creaminess of the tart and the coldness of the sorbet.

Scavi and Ray Non Alcoholic Prosecco's versatility makes it an excellent choice for a variety of occasions, from casual gatherings to formal celebrations, adding a touch of elegance and joy to any meal.

Serving Suggestions

Scavi and Ray Prosecco Serving Suggestions:

Enjoy the best of Scavi and Ray Non Alcoholic Prosecco with these serving suggestions, designed to elevate your drinking experience:

  • Chill to Perfection: For the ideal tasting experience, chill the Prosecco to between 6-8°C. This temperature range enhances the wine's crispness and effervescence, making each sip refreshingly delightful.
  • Use Proper Glassware: Serve in a traditional flute or tulip-shaped sparkling wine glass to concentrate the aromas and direct the wine to the tip of the tongue, where sweetness is most perceived. The shape also helps preserve the bubbles for longer, enhancing the visual appeal and sensation of the effervescence.
  • Opening with Care: When opening the bottle, ensure to do so gently to preserve the carbonation. Hold the cork and twist the bottle at the base to open with a soft pop, maintaining the elegance of the moment.
  • Toast to Special Occasions: Scavi and Ray Non Alcoholic Prosecco is perfect for toasting special occasions or enjoying as a celebratory drink during events where guests prefer non-alcoholic options. Its festive nature brings a sense of occasion to any gathering.
  • Mix into Mocktails: Use as a base for a variety of non-alcoholic cocktails and mocktails. Mix with fresh fruit juices, a splash of soda, and garnish with fresh fruit for a refreshing and sophisticated drink option.

Whether you're enjoying a quiet evening at home, hosting a brunch, or celebrating a milestone, these serving suggestions for Scavi and Ray Non Alcoholic Prosecco will ensure a memorable and enjoyable experience for all.
