Introducing the Thomson & Scott Noughty Rosé - a delectable dealcoholized still rosé that allows you to indulge in the sophisticated flavours of fine wine without the alcohol content. This elegant Provence-style rosé is a delightful blend of 98% Chenin Blanc and 2% Pinotage, sourced from sustainably farmed vineyards in the Western Cape region.

The winemaking process involves a 14-day fermentation at 14-15°C, followed by two months of ageing on lees for added complexity. Aroma: The nose is greeted with an enticing blend of fresh red fruits, including strawberries, raspberries, and a hint of cherries, layered with a subtle floral note that adds to its allure.

Taste: On the palate, Thomson & Scott Noughty Rosé delivers a harmonious balance of fruitiness and acidity. The initial sweetness of red berries transitions into a slightly tangy and refreshing finish, making each sip moreish.

Mouthfeel: Light and smooth with a vibrant fizz that enhances its refreshing qualities. The moderate acidity ensures a crisp and clean finish that lingers pleasantly, inviting another taste.

Food Pairings

Thomson & Scott Noughty Rosé Food Pairings:

Appetizers: Pair with light and fresh appetizers such as goat cheese crostini, shrimp cocktail, or a caprese salad. The wine's acidity and fruitiness cut through the richness of the cheese and complement the freshness of the tomatoes and basil.

Main Courses: Ideal with grilled salmon, roasted chicken, or vegetable kebabs. The rosé's berry notes will enhance the natural flavours of the salmon and chicken, while its crispness provides a delightful contrast to the charred vegetables.

Salads: Works wonderfully with a variety of salads, especially those featuring berries, nuts, and a light vinaigrette. The wine's fruity character will echo the berries' sweetness, and its acidity will balance the dressing's tang.

Cheeses: Soft cheeses like brie or feta are excellent choices. The creamy texture of the cheese alongside the crisp, fruity rosé creates a harmonious palate experience.

Desserts: For a sweet finish, pair with fruit-based desserts such as berry tarts or peach cobbler. The wine's subtle sweetness complements the desserts without overwhelming them, providing a refreshing end to the meal.

Thomson & Scott Noughty Rosé is versatile, making it suitable for various dishes, enhancing the dining experience with its balanced profile and refreshing finish.
