Brauerei Nittenauer
Brauerei Nittenauer has been part of the Bavarian brewing landscape for more than 250 years. Based in the small town of Nittenau, the brewery carries a long tradition of craftsmanship, care and community at the heart of its beers. In recent years, Michael and Petra Sturm have breathed new life into this historic name, combining time-honoured German brewing practices with a modern, creative approach to craft beer.
Under their direction, Nittenauer has become one of Germany’s most respected independent breweries, admired for both its innovation and its respect for tradition. Each beer is brewed in accordance with the German Purity Law using local barley, wheat and pure Bavarian spring water. The brewery’s alcohol free range benefits from the same precision, using carefully controlled fermentation and gentle dealcoholisation to preserve aroma, depth and mouthfeel.
From the citrus brightness of Freie Liebe Pale Ale and the Belgian-inspired smoothness of The Wit, to the rich roasted notes of Lola Coffee Porter, every Nittenauer beer tells a story of balance and authenticity.
Today, Brauerei Nittenauer stands for beer without boundaries. It is a celebration of heritage and innovation, proving that great brewing is about character, flavour and craftsmanship, not alcohol content.
