Guinness 0.0 538ml / Pint cans, the non-alcoholic version of the iconic and best-selling stout beer. With a groundbreaking innovation at its core, the dedicated Guinness brewers have worked relentlessly to ensure that Guinness 0.0 retains the beautifully smooth, cool, and dark taste of the original Guinness while removing the alcohol. The result is a delicious and satisfying beverage that maintains the distinctive character of the world-renowned stout.

Just like the classic Guinness, Guinness 0.0 is dark ruby red with a creamy head, offering hints of chocolate and coffee. The smooth beverage is perfectly balanced with bitter, sweet, and roasted notes, creating a delightful drinking experience without alcohol. Brewed using a new cold filtration process, Guinness 0.0 retains the characteristic flavours that make Guinness Draught their most popular beer.

The brewing process for Guinness 0.0 starts just as it always has, but the alcohol is gently removed through a cold filtration method. This helps to preserve its natural flavour, ensuring that the all-important sweetness of the malt, the bitterness of the hops, and the unique Guinness Roasted Barley flavours are all perfectly balanced. With 250 years of innovation behind it, Guinness 0.0 is a fantastic non-alcoholic option for those who love the taste of Guinness but prefer to avoid alcohol.

Serving Suggestions

To fully appreciate the delicious taste and smooth texture of Guinness 0.0, follow these simple serving suggestions:

  1. Refrigerate your can or bottle of Guinness 0.0 until it reaches the ideal serving temperature of 3-5°C. This ensures that the stout is refreshingly cold, enhancing its flavour and providing the perfect drinking experience.
  2. When you're ready to enjoy your chilled Guinness 0.0, open the can or bottle carefully to maintain its carbonation.
  3. Select a clean, dry pint glass and tilt it at a 45-degree angle. This will allow the stout to glide smoothly down the side of the glass, forming a rich and creamy head.
  4. Slowly pour the Guinness 0.0 into the glass, straightening it as the liquid fills. This technique helps create the perfect balance of foam and liquid, ensuring a beautiful presentation and optimal taste.
  5. Admire the dark ruby red colour and the creamy head, then take a moment to savour the aroma of chocolate and coffee notes before enjoying your perfectly poured Guinness 0.0.

By following these steps, you'll experience the full flavour and character of Guinness 0.0, just as the brewers intended. Cheers!

About Guinness

Guinness is an Irish dry stout that originated in the brewery of Arthur Guinness at St. James's Gate, Dublin, Ireland, in 1759. It is one of the most successful alcohol brands worldwide, brewed in almost 50 countries, and available in over 120. Sales in 2011 amounted to 850,000,000 litres. In spite of declining consumption since 2001, it is the best-selling alcoholic drink in Ireland where Guinness & Co. Brewery makes almost €2 billion worth of beer annually.

The Guinness Storehouse is a tourist attraction at St. James's Gate Brewery in Dublin, Ireland. Since its opening in 2000, it has received over 20 million visitors. Guinness's flavour derives from malted barley and roasted unmalted barley, a relatively modern development, not becoming part of the grist until the mid-20th century. For many years, a portion of aged brew was blended with freshly brewed beer to give a sharp lactic acid flavour. Although Guinness's palate still features a characteristic "tang", the company has refused to confirm whether this type of blending still occurs. The draught beer's thick, creamy head comes from mixing the beer with nitrogen and carbon dioxide.

The company moved its headquarters to London at the beginning of the Anglo-Irish Trade War in 1932. In 1997, Guinness plc merged with Grand Metropolitan to form the multinational alcoholic-drinks producer Diageo plc, based in London.
