Avalon Sidra Bajo is a non alcoholic cider from Asturias, Spain, with less than 0.5 % ABV. Made by Trabanco, it is blended from sweet, bitter and sour apple varieties grown in their own orchards. The juice is fermented naturally with indigenous yeasts in large chestnut casks using traditional sidra (cider) methods preserved over centuries. It is semi-dry with low added sugar.

Tasting Notes

Pours a brilliant pale golden yellow with light carbonation. The aroma is fresh with green apple and hints of spice. On the palate it is crisp and balanced, showing a blend of sweet and tart apple flavours with medium-dry finish. The mouthfeel is smooth, lightly effervescent and refreshing.

Food Pairings

Pairs well with cured meats, soft cheeses, seafood, salads or apple based desserts. Its brightness complements savoury and sweet dishes alike.

Serving Suggestions

Serve well chilled (around 6-8 °C) in a cider glass. Ideal for warm weather, casual drinking occasions or with light food.
