Tasting Notes
Pours: Deep red with a rich, ruby colour.
Aroma: Blackcurrant, cherry, blackberry, prune, red fruit and soft spice.
Palate: Smooth and fruity, with dark berry flavour, ripe cherry, blackcurrant and a gentle spicy edge. The Cabernet Sauvignon character gives it a little depth, while the alcohol free body keeps it mellow and easy to enjoy with food.
Finish: Fruity and softly spiced, with a lingering blackcurrant and cherry note.
Food Pairings
Pair with spaghetti in a rich tomato and basil sauce, topped with parmesan and cracked black pepper. The red fruit and spice sit nicely with tomato, herbs and savoury cheese, making it a very easy midweek match.
