Tasting Notes
Pours: Pale golden with a bright sparkle and fine bubbles.
Aroma: Yellow Mirabel plum, pear, ripe yellow apple and gentle Chardonnay notes.
Palate: Rich and rounded, with pear, yellow apple and soft stone fruit leading into a fresh line of acidity. The Chardonnay character gives it a little depth, while the sparkle keeps it clean, lively and refreshing.
Finish: Crisp, elegant and fruit led, with a clean pear and apple finish.
Food Pairings
Pair with smoked salmon blinis, crab cakes with lemon mayo, garlic prawns or scallops with a light citrus butter. The pear, apple and acidity work nicely with seafood, especially where there is lemon, cream or fresh herbs involved.
