Deep ruby in colour with a smooth natural clarity. The nose shows ripe plum, black cherry and a touch of spice. On the palate, juicy berry fruit is layered with gentle spice and balanced by soft tannins. The finish is rounded, elegant and refreshing, leaving a lasting impression of ripe fruit and smooth texture.

This Merlot is a versatile match for everyday dining. It complements pasta dishes with tomato based sauces, roasted vegetables and grilled meats. It also pairs well with pizza, mushroom risotto and hearty vegetarian casseroles. Dark chocolate desserts and berry tarts also benefit from its soft fruit character.

Serve at room temperature in a wide red wine glass to release its aromas and texture. It is a comforting wine to sip on its own but also pairs well at the dinner table. For a lighter summer serve, try it very slightly chilled to bring out the fresh berry notes.
