As with all Insel-Brauerei creations, Surfer’s Summer Ale is bottle-fermented and unfiltered, giving it a naturally cloudy pour and plenty of depth. It’s brewed using a unique method that preserves flavour during alcohol reduction—so you get a proper craft experience, just with less than 0.5% ABV.  With eco-conscious packaging, island brewing roots, and a commitment to flavour-first brewing, this is alcohol-free beer with real craft credentials.

Serve well chilled, around 5–7°C, in a tulip or stemmed ale glass to highlight the light hop aroma and natural haze. Ideal for garden gatherings, post-swim sips, or just cooling off after a long day.  This sunny ale pairs well with grilled seafood,summer salads,chicken skewers, or lightly spiced tacos. Its easy going bitterness and citrus lift also complement cheddar cheese,grilled courgette, or a crisp Caprese salad.

Hazy gold with a frothy white head, Surfer’s Summer Ale lifts with aromas of citrus, honey, light floral hops and soft grain. The palate is crisp and gently fruity, showing notes of lemon zest, peach, and biscuit malt, with a whisper of bitterness to finish. Light-bodied but full of finesse, it’s smooth, sessionable, and wonderfully balanced.
