Klokk & CoKlokk & Co FRIPA - Alcohol Free Mango IPA
Klokk & Co Mango FRIPA is a fresh alcohol free Mango IPA from Norway, based on the popular FRIPA and brewed with real mango purée. It brings soft tropical fruit, a light IPA bitterness and a refreshing finish, giving you something fruitier than a standard IPA but still properly beer based.
The mango gives it gentle sweetness and sunny fruit character, while the barley, wheat and oats help build a fuller alcohol free body. It is a bright, easy going fridge beer for BBQs, pizza, spicy food, seafood, salty snacks and warm weather drinking.
Tasting Notes
Pours: Hazy golden orange with a soft pale head and a bright tropical look.
Aroma: Ripe mango, soft tropical fruit, light malt, gentle grain and fresh hop notes.
Palate: Juicy mango comes through first, followed by soft malt, light citrus freshness and a gentle IPA bitterness. The fruit keeps it lively and summery, while the beer base gives it balance and stops it feeling too sweet.
Finish: Fresh, fruity and lightly bitter, with lingering mango and a clean IPA edge.
Food Pairings
Pair with fish tacos loaded with lime, coriander, salsa and crunchy slaw. The mango fruit works beautifully with seafood, citrus and a touch of chilli, while the IPA bitterness keeps the pairing fresh.
It also suits pepperoni pizza, Margherita pizza, BBQ chicken skewers, grilled halloumi, veggie burgers, smoky cauliflower bites or nachos with jalapeños and sour cream. The tropical fruit gives richer food a sunny lift without overpowering it.
