Klokk & Co FRIPA Radler Lime & Mango is a bright alcohol free IPA radler from Norway, made with 50% alcohol free IPA and 50% lemonade from real lime and mango. It brings juicy mango sweetness, sharp lime freshness and a light IPA bitterness together in a crisp, refreshing can.
This is fruitier and lighter than a straight IPA, but still keeps enough beer character to feel balanced. The mango gives it a smooth tropical feel, while the lime adds a clean citrus edge that makes it properly thirst quenching. A great fridge beer for BBQs, pizza, salty snacks, seafood, garden drinks and sunny alcohol free refreshment.
Tasting Notes
Pours: Hazy golden with a soft pale head and a bright tropical glow.
Aroma: Juicy mango, fresh lime, soft citrus, light malt and gentle hop notes.
Palate: Mango comes through first with smooth tropical sweetness, followed by zesty lime, mild malt and a light IPA bitterness. The lemonade side keeps it juicy and refreshing, while the IPA base adds enough bite to stop it feeling too sweet.
Finish: Fresh, fruity and citrusy, with mango softness, lime brightness and a gentle hoppy edge.
Food Pairings
Pair with fish tacos loaded with lime, coriander, salsa and crunchy slaw. The lime in the radler works beautifully with seafood, while the mango adds a soft fruitiness that suits chilli and fresh herbs.
It also suits Margherita pizza, pepperoni pizza, BBQ chicken skewers, grilled halloumi, veggie burgers, smoky cauliflower bites or nachos with jalapeños and sour cream. The IPA base brings a little bitterness for savoury food, while the fruit lemonade side keeps everything bright.
