Klokk & Co FRIPA Radler Mandarin & Lemongrass is a bright alcohol free IPA radler from Norway, made with 50% alcohol free IPA and 50% lemonade from real fruit. It brings juicy mandarin citrus, fresh lemongrass and a light IPA bitterness together in a crisp, refreshing can.
This is lighter and fruitier than a straight IPA, but still has enough beer character to stop it feeling like a soft drink. The mandarin gives it soft citrus sweetness, while the lemongrass adds a clean, aromatic lift. It is a great choice for BBQs, pizza nights, salty snacks, garden drinks and easy alcohol free refreshment.
Tasting Notes
Pours: Hazy golden orange with a soft pale head and a bright citrus glow.
Aroma: Juicy mandarin, fresh lemongrass, soft citrus, light malt and gentle hop notes.
Palate: Sweet mandarin citrus comes through first, followed by lemony freshness, mild malt sweetness and a light IPA bitterness. The fruit lemonade keeps it lively and thirst quenching, while the IPA base gives it balance and a proper beer feel.
Finish: Fresh, citrusy and clean, with mandarin sweetness, lemongrass lift and a gentle hoppy edge.
