The brewery says it uses the same generous amount of sour cherries and natural aromas as the original, giving you a sparkling ruby red beer with that classic sweet and tart balance, just without the alcohol. This is not one for people chasing bitterness or heavy malt. It is all about juicy cherry character, lively refreshment and a slightly more playful way to do alcohol free beer.

Tasting Notes
Sparkling ruby red in the glass with a delicate pink foam, this looks every bit as lively as you would hope. On the nose you get orchard fresh cherries with a faint almond note, while the flavour brings ripe sour cherry, gentle sweetness and a clean tart edge that keeps everything balanced. Light, fruity and refreshing, it lands firmly in the sunshine and terrace drinking camp.
Food Pairings
A lovely match for goat cheese and other soft cheeses. It also works beautifully with beef carbonnade, Belgian meatballs, rabbit or lamb with cherry sauce, fresh salads with mint and herbs, vanilla ice cream, cheesecake with cherry compote and chocolate desserts.
Serving Suggestions
Serve properly chilled at 2 to 4°C for the freshest finish. Pour into a stemmed beer glass if you want to lift the aroma a bit, or use it as the base for a cherry led mocktail if you fancy showing off. It is a lovely shout for warm afternoons, lighter desserts and people who say they do not usually like beer.
