Moersleutel Motor Oil Non Alcoholic Imperial Stout is a dark, rich 0.5% stout from Moersleutel Craft Brewery in the Netherlands. Based on the brewery’s much loved Motor Oil stout, this alcohol free version brings big roasted depth with layers of coffee, vanilla, tonka, raisin and cinnamon. The malt bill includes barley, oats and wheat, giving it a fuller body than many lighter alcohol free beers. It is bold, smooth and properly grown up, ideal for stout drinkers who want flavour and depth without the higher ABV.
Tasting Notes
Deep dark brown to black in the glass with a smooth tan head. The aroma is rich with roasted malt, coffee, vanilla and tonka, followed by softer raisin and cinnamon notes. The flavour is dark and rounded, with bitter chocolate, roasted grain and gentle sweetness giving it a proper stout character. The finish is smooth, full and warming, with lingering coffee and spice.
