Noughty Rouge is a dealcoholised red wine made from 100% Syrah grapes grown in Darling, South Africa. The fruit comes from dryland farmed vineyards, and the wine is dealcoholised under vacuum using spun cone technology to help retain its body, colour and flavour. It is a non vintage release and is also confirmed gluten free, which makes it a smart option for customers looking for a proper alcohol free red with more structure than many softer styles.

Tasting Notes
Deep ruby red in the glass, with ripe red fruit, crushed black pepper, dried rose petal and candied cherry on the nose and palate. There is a gentle tannic edge from the oak influence, which helps it feel balanced and more wine led than overly sweet.
Food Pairings
Based on the Syrah grape, the peppery fruit profile and the gentle tannic grip, this should work especially well with hearty pasta dishes, roasted Mediterranean vegetables, mushroom based dishes, mature cheeses and richer meat free meals.
