Brewing Excellence Since 1634

With a brewing legacy dating back to February 24th, 1634, the Paulaner monks of the Neudeck monastery have withstood the test of time and competition. Despite attempts by Munich commercial brewers to suppress their craft, the monks persevered and continued perfecting their home-brewed beer. Today, that same unwavering dedication is evident in every bottle of Paulaner Alcohol Free Wheat Beer.

Serving Suggestions

Paulaner Wheat Beer Hefe-Weißbier Serving Suggestions:

To fully appreciate the flavour and aroma of Paulaner Alcohol Free Wheat Beer, follow these serving suggestions and enjoy your beer to the fullest:

  • Proper Glassware: Serve your beer in a traditional weizen glass, which showcases its hazy appearance and allows room for its characteristic fluffy head.
  • Chilled Temperature: For optimal taste, serve the beer chilled at a temperature of 4-6°C.
  • Pouring Technique: Tilt the glass at a 45-degree angle and pour the beer slowly, allowing it to slide down the side of the glass. Straighten the glass as it fills, creating a generous head of foam. This technique helps release the beer's aromatics and ensures a smooth, creamy head.
  • Swirl and Aerate: Gently swirl the beer in the glass to release the complex aromas and flavours. This also helps to maintain a frothy head.
  • Garnish: Enhance your beer's presentation by garnishing it with a slice of lemon or orange, which complements the beer's fruity notes and adds a touch of visual appeal.

By following these serving suggestions, you'll ensure the best possible experience while sipping on a refreshing Paulaner Alcohol Free Wheat Beer. Enjoy!

About Paulaner

Paulaner Logo

The tale of Paulaner Brewery is one that spans nearly four centuries, rooted in the rich history and culture of Munich, Germany. The brewery's journey began in 1634, in a humble monastery called Neudeck ob der Au, where a group of resourceful monks started brewing beer, staying true to their craftsmanship and passion for perfection.

At the time, commercial brewers in Munich saw the monks' skill as a threat to their business and tried to ban them from selling their heavenly brew. However, the monks persisted, and their brewing legacy continued, defying the odds and triumphing over adversity. This perseverance laid the foundation for the Paulaner Brewery we know and love today.

The name "Paulaner" itself is derived from the order of monks known as the Order of Saint Paul, who were renowned for their dedication to the community and their mastery of the art of brewing. Over time, Paulaner Brewery has become synonymous with the finest quality German beer, reflecting the principles of tradition, craftsmanship, and excellence that the monks held dear.

Through the centuries, Paulaner has continued to evolve, embracing modern brewing techniques while remaining faithful to its roots. This dedication to innovation has led to the creation of the Paulaner Alcohol Free Wheat Beer, a testament to the brewery's ability to adapt and cater to the ever-changing tastes of beer lovers worldwide.

Today, the Paulaner Brewery stands as a beacon of Bavarian culture and tradition, with its exceptional range of beers enjoyed by people from all walks of life. As you raise your glass of Paulaner Alcohol Free Wheat Beer, you not only savour its delightful taste but also become a part of the extraordinary legacy that has spanned nearly four centuries.
