Serving Suggestions
TO FULLY ENJOY THE TASTE AND EXPERIENCE OF SAMUEL SMITHS NON-ALCOHOLIC BROWN ALE, IT'S BEST TO SERVE IT FOLLOWING THESE SIMPLE STEPS:
- Chill: Ensure the brown ale is properly chilled before serving. Aim for a temperature between 7-12°C for optimal refreshment and flavour.
- Glassware: Select an appropriate glass, such as a pint glass or a nonic glass, to enhance the visual appeal and bring out the brown ale's characteristics.
- Pouring: Tilt the glass at a 45-degree angle and slowly pour the brown ale, allowing it to flow down the side of the glass. Gradually straighten the glass as you pour, creating a perfect head of foam on top. The foam helps retain the aroma and maintain the flavour of the beer.
- Aroma: Take a moment to appreciate the brown ale's aroma, which may include notes of caramel, toasted malt, and a hint of nuttiness.
- Taste: Take a sip, allowing the brown ale to wash over your palate, and enjoy the smooth, malty taste with its balanced flavour profile and mild sweetness.
By following these steps, you can elevate the experience of drinking Samuel Smiths Non-Alcoholic Brown Ale, ensuring that its unique qualities and flavours are fully appreciated.
About Samuel Smiths
Samuel Smith's Brewery, a timeless gem nestled in the heart of Tadcaster, Yorkshire, has been crafting exceptional ales since its establishment in 1758. This family-run brewery, built upon the foundations of tradition and quality, has stood the test of time, maintaining its proud heritage for over 260 years.
Founded by John Smith, the brewery's legacy has been handed down through generations, ensuring that the commitment to excellence and unwavering passion for brewing exceptional beer endures. Today, the brewery is still owned and operated by the descendants of Samuel Smith, who took over the business from his uncle, Robert, in the mid-19th century.
One of the defining features of Samuel Smith's Brewery is its steadfast dedication to traditional brewing methods, such as using copper boiling kettles, open-topped fermenting vessels, and the iconic Shire horses for local beer deliveries. The brewery's own well, over 85 feet deep, provides the purest of water, drawn from the same limestone aquifer that has supplied the brewery for centuries.
Samuel Smith's range of beers is renowned for its quality and diversity, from the classic Old Brewery Bitter to the innovative and flavourful fruit beers. By preserving the traditions of the past and combining them with an unyielding passion for quality, Samuel Smith's Brewery has become an enduring icon in the world of brewing.
