On the palate, expect crisp malt, gentle lemony citrus, light herbal hop notes and a clean thread of spice that keeps it lively without feeling sharp. The finish is crisp and refreshing, with a touch of malt sweetness and a tidy dry edge.

Try it with grilled chicken, fish and chips, salt and pepper squid, margherita pizza or a simple ploughman’s lunch.

Serve properly chilled in a lager glass or straight from the can when you want to keep things simple. It suits sunny afternoons, easy lunches and midweek drinking when you want something light, clean and refreshing. A bowl of salty snacks alongside it would do very nicely.
