Kirkstall Tropicous is a juicy alcohol free hazy IPA from Kirkstall Brewery. Brewed with Citra, Krush and Talus hops, it brings a proper burst of mango, guava and pink grapefruit flavour. The soft hazy body gives it that full, modern IPA feel, while the 0.5% ABV keeps it easy going. It is bright, tropical and refreshing, with enough hop character to feel like a proper beer rather than a compromise.

Hops: Citra, Krush and Talus.
Citra brings bright citrus, mango and tropical fruit. Krush adds juicy notes of guava, peach and berry, giving the beer that soft hazy IPA fruitiness. Talus brings a sharper pink grapefruit edge, with citrus peel and a lightly floral lift. Together they make Tropicous juicy, bright and tropical, with enough bitterness to keep it crisp rather than sweet.
Tasting Notes
Pours hazy with a soft pale head.
Aroma section: mango, guava, pink grapefruit, citrus and tropical hops.
Palate section: juicy tropical fruit comes through first, with mango and guava leading into sharper pink grapefruit and fresh citrus. The haze gives it a soft body, while the hop bitterness keeps the fruit balanced and clean.
Finish: fresh and fruity with a crisp tropical hop lift.
Food Pairings
Pair with fish tacos loaded with lime and coriander, jerk chicken with rice and peas, grilled halloumi burgers with mango chutney, coconut prawns with chilli dip or Thai noodle salad with sesame, lime and fresh herbs.
Serving Suggestions
Serve chilled in an IPA glass or craft beer glass to open up the tropical hop aroma. It is spot on for BBQs, weekend football, spicy food, garden drinks or any time you want a hazy IPA without the alcohol.
