ABOUT SEEDLIP
Seedlip was started by Ben Branson, who, inspired by the Physician and author of the 1651 book 'The Art of Distillation', John French, purchased a small copper still and experimented with distilling herbs grown in his garden at home. After ordering a non-alcoholic cocktail and being served a pink sugary drink while dining in an upscale London restaurant, Ben decided to make it his mission to create a sophisticated non-alcoholic option.
After 2 years he had perfected it, launching Seedlip Spice 94 in London’s Selfridges on November 4th, 2015. His first 1000 bottles sold out in three weeks, the second thousand in three days, and the third in 30 minutes online.
Since then Seedlip has grown. They won two gold medals at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, have opened up additional offices in Los Angeles and Sydney, published a Cocktail Book with Penguin, and launched the first-ever no & low alcohol cocktail concept (Nolo®).
