Appearance: The glass is clear and inviting and presents a rich, ruby colour. Its lighter hue towards the edge suggests its lighter alcohol content without compromising on the depth associated with Merlot.

The reduced alcohol content ensures a lighter body, making it a refreshing take on the classic Merlot profile.

Mouthfeel: Despite its low alcohol content, the wine maintains a pleasing, smooth mouthfeel that makes it easy to drink. It finishes clean, with a lingering fruitiness that invites another sip.

Finish: The finish is moderately long, leaving a pleasant aftertaste of ripe fruits with a hint of spice, reflecting the wine's subtle complexity.

Nice Session Merlot - Low Alcohol Red Wine Serving Suggestions:

Experience the full potential of Nice Session Merlot - Low Alcohol Red Wine with these serving suggestions, designed to enhance your enjoyment of this refined beverage. This low-alcohol Merlot, with its rich palette of flavours, offers versatility and elegance in every glass. Here are some tips to serve it at its best:

  • Optimal Temperature: Serve the Nice Session Merlot slightly chilled, at around 14-16°C (57-61°F). This temperature range helps to accentuate the wine's fruit flavours while softening its tannins, offering a smoother drinking experience.
  • Decanting: While not always necessary for a low-alcohol wine, decanting the Merlot about 30 minutes before serving can enhance its aromatic profile and flavour complexity. This process allows the wine to breathe, bringing out its best qualities.
  • Glassware: Choose a medium-sized wine glass with a broad bowl to serve the Nice Session Merlot. This type of glassware concentrates the wine's aromas towards the top of the glass, enriching the sensory experience with every sip.
  • Food Pairing: Consider the accompanying meal when serving this Merlot. Its versatile nature pairs well with various dishes, from grilled meats to hearty vegetarian options. Matching the wine with complementary flavours will elevate the wine and the food.
  • Occasion: Whether enjoying a quiet evening at home or hosting a special dinner, the Nice Session Merlot is a fitting choice for any occasion. Its low alcohol content makes it suitable for guests preferring a lighter wine option.

By following these serving suggestions, you'll ensure that every glass of Nice Session Merlot - Low Alcohol Red Wine is savoured to its fullest, providing a memorable experience for you and your guests.
