On the palate, Domaine Piquant delivers a crisp, clean, and profoundly refreshing taste. The orchard fruits come alive, accompanied by a gentle acidity that balances out the sweetness, ensuring every sip is as engaging as the last. About Wednesday's Domaine

About Wednesday’s Domaine

In the ever-evolving world of beverages, Wednesday’s Domaine arose from a personal thirst for change. The word "alcohol-free" once echoed with undertones of limited options, often met with sighs and resignations to yet another uninspired choice. While evenings out with friends resonated with laughter and joy, the aftermath was often marred by the looming promise of a fuzzy head.

The inception of Wednesday’s Domaine wasn’t a mere eureka moment, but a gradual realization. For the creator, the blend between indulging in wine and the wish to avoid alcohol’s after-effects became particularly clear. It wasn’t just about avoiding alcohol; it was about craving an immersive experience, the swirl, the aroma, the depth of flavours – all without the intoxication. They say necessity is the mother of invention, and this adage rings true for Wednesday’s Domaine. For the founder, the quest was deeply personal. Growing older brought with it a change in priorities, dwindling energies, and a keen sense of time slipping by. The evenings of unwinding with a glass of wine seemed more appealing when spread across the week rather than reserved for weekends. But how could one balance this indulgence without the consequences of alcohol?

The journey began with de-alcoholised wines. The challenge was retaining the rich body, aromas, and complexities often diminished in the absence of alcohol. Through extensive experimentation, the perfect blend was achieved by integrating natural flavours and elements. The result was nothing short of a revolution in the world of non-alcoholic beverages.

Hailing from the sun-kissed vineyards of Spain and bottled with precision in the UK, Wednesday’s Domaine wines offer an authentic, unparalleled experience. Sanguine, with its 0.18% ABV and Piquant at 0.04% ABV, stand as testaments to the brand's commitment to quality and taste. While the EU tags any drink below 0.5% ABV as “alcohol-free,” the UK has its distinctions. Drinks below 0.05% are labelled “alcohol-free,” and those between 0.05% and 0.5% are “de-alcoholised.” This distinction explains the varied wording on Sanguine and Piquant labels. But the essence remains - Wednesday’s Domaine offers a wine experience without the intoxicating effects.

Wednesday’s Domaine is more than just a brand; it’s a movement, challenging conventions and redefining choices. It’s the answer for those who cherish their wine moments but choose to experience them differently. Here's to new traditions, authentic experiences, and the magic of reinvention!
